In the summer of 2026, the life of 19-year-old Victoria M. Kreitler was tragically cut short in an act of violence that stunned the Omaha, Nebraska community. On the morning of Friday, July 10, concerned individuals requested a welfare check at a residence in the 100th block of North 35th Street. Responding Omaha police officers arrived at the home shortly after 7:30 a.m. to a grim discovery. Inside, they found the bodies of Victoria and her 26-year-old boyfriend, Lucas Nunez.
