In the late morning of June 8, 2026, the community of North Little Rock, Arkansas, was shaken by a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 29-year-old Arron Gilliam. Officers from the North Little Rock Police Department were dispatched to the Jefferson Manor Apartments at 2600 John Ashley Drive around 10:28 a.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon entering one of the apartments, they discovered Gilliam, who had sustained gunshot wounds. He was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
