In the summer of 2025, a residence on Chandler Street in North Little Rock, Arkansas, became the scene of a grim discovery. On the afternoon of June 24th, police officers responded to a call about a sick or injured person. Inside the home, they found 54-year-old Clifton Hall Jr. suffering from what was described as 'obvious trauma.' Tragically, Hall was pronounced dead at the scene, a victim of fatal gun violence.
The investigation into the death of Clifton Hall Jr.
quickly transitioned into a homicide case. Within a short period, the North Little Rock Police Department identified two individuals believed to be connected to the crime. The first suspect, 21-year-old Deshanti Lewis, was taken into custody. Following her arrest, she was charged with capital murder and aggravated robbery, suggesting a violent and financially motivated crime.
The search for a second suspect, 22-year-old Kameron Dshaun Johnson, was also launched. Authorities publicly identified Johnson as being wanted for capital murder and aggravated robbery in connection with Hall's death. A day after the incident, on June 25th, officers attempted to apprehend Johnson on Warden Road. He allegedly fled from the police, leading to additional charges of felony fleeing and second-degree battery. Later that same day, Johnson surrendered to the police.
