On a tragic evening in Chesapeake, Virginia, the life of 25-year-old Tylik Sessoms was cut short by gunfire. The incident, which unfolded shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2026, also left two other individuals wounded in what authorities described as a triple shooting. The Chesapeake Police Department's investigation began when an injured person was brought to the Second Precinct by a citizen. This individual was subsequently transported to a hospital for treatment.
