On a grim Friday night in Chesapeake, Virginia, the life of 25-year-old Namel Prince Augustine was tragically cut short. On October 5, 2018, police responded to reports of gunshots in the 800 block of Great Bridge Boulevard. Arriving at the scene around 10:29 p.m., officers made a somber discovery: the body of a young man, later identified as Augustine, lying on the sidewalk. He had sustained apparent gunshot wounds.
