A teenage girl is found murdered after being abducted while walking in Marcy, NY
On the evening of September 18, 1985, Kimberly Simon, a 16-year-old from Marcy, New York, left her home to meet a friend at Whitesboro Junior High School. She never returned. The following day, her body was discovered in a wooded area near the Mohawk River. Kimberly had been brutally raped and strangled, and her death shook the small community.
