On a Wednesday morning in Uniondale, New York, the life of 28-year-old Nikeka Chanette Poe was tragically cut short. On December 15, 2021, police responded to a call of shots fired on Laclede Avenue at approximately 7:59 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Poe lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
