On October 29, 2023, at approximately 7:06 a.m., Nassau County Police responded to a 911 call reporting a violent domestic incident involving a handgun at a residence on Newton Avenue in Uniondale, New York. Upon arrival, officers discovered 43-year-old Vanessa Johnson-Williams and her 45-year-old husband, Ralph Williams, unresponsive in their bedroom, both suffering from gunshot wounds. They were transported to a nearby hospital, where Johnson-Williams was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
