Betty Conley, a 37-year-old convenience store clerk, was tragically murdered on July 8, 1993, in Charlton, New York. She was working the midnight shift at the Xtra-Mart on State Route 67 when she was shot in the head around 3 a.m. The shooter stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the store before fleeing.
