On October 8, 2014, the quiet community of Guilderland, New York, was shaken by the brutal murder of the Chen family, which included Hai Yan Li, her husband Jin Chen, and their two young sons, Anthony and Eddy. The family was discovered in their home on Western Avenue, having been bludgeoned to death. The gruesome scene was uncovered when a co-worker of Jin Chen's arrived at the house after Jin failed to show up for work.
