In the early hours of Easter morning, April 5, 2026, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace outside a Spartanburg, South Carolina bar, leaving a 64-year-old Black / African American man, David Wayne Bunn of Gaffney, fatally wounded. The incident, which unfolded around 2:00 a.m. in the parking lot of the PreGame Lounge on South Blackstock Road, also resulted in injuries to two other individuals, one critically.
