Rahiem Taree Kelly, 15, a Black male, was inside his family's Bethel Street home in Spartanburg just before dawn on June 27, 2025, when gunfire tore through the house. Officers arrived around 4:40 a.m. to reports of shots fired and followed a trail of blood up to the second floor, where they found the 15-year-old with a gunshot wound to the right side of his upper torso. He was rushed to Spartanburg Medical Center and later died.
