Emery Lorenzo Williams, a 64-year-old male, was a respected and cherished member of the Spartanburg, South Carolina community. His life was tragically cut short on the evening of April 2, 2014, in what authorities have described as a senseless act of violence. Williams, the Chief Financial Officer of the J.W. Woodward Funeral Home, was on his way home from choir practice at Silver Hill Memorial United Methodist Church when the fatal incident occurred.
