In the early hours of a Tuesday morning in DeKalb County, Georgia, a tragedy unfolded that would end the life of 50-year-old Tywarn Jones. The initial call to authorities on April 7, 2026, came in at approximately 3:06 a.m., reporting a person shot on Interstate 285 southbound, near the Glenwood Road exit. When officers arrived, they discovered Jones suffering from grave gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
