On March 29, 2023, 21-year-old Torey Shepherd was fatally shot in Lithonia, Georgia, during a violent confrontation.
The incident occurred on Kelly Street in Lithonia, where an argument between Shepherd and 42-year-old Kali Smith escalated into a deadly shootout. According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, the argument turned violent, resulting in Shepherd being wounded by gunfire. Despite the injuries, Shepherd succumbed to his wounds, leading to his death.
