Othneil Johnson, a 45-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 4, 2021, in Lithonia, Georgia. The incident occurred at the Fairington Ridge Circle condominiums in Stonecrest while Johnson was assisting a friend with car repairs. According to reports, Johnson was caught in the crossfire of a gunfight between two juveniles. A juvenile boy, shooting from a Dodge Journey, struck Johnson while aiming at another juvenile.
