On the afternoon of April 10, 2026, a burst of violence on a street in the East New York section of Brooklyn claimed the life of 18-year-old Steven Lantigua. The incident unfolded just after 3:30 p.m. in front of 783 Drew St., where Lantigua was discovered by authorities with a single, fatal gunshot wound to his chest. Emergency medical services arrived at the scene and quickly transported him to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, but his injury proved too severe, ...
