In the early hours of a Sunday morning in May 2017, a tragedy unfolded on a street in the East Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn. Just after midnight on May 21st, police responded to a call on East 43rd Street where they discovered 35-year-old Gavin Adams inside his red Chrysler sedan. He had been shot multiple times, sustaining wounds to his head and torso.
