On April 20, 2024, at approximately 2:12 a.m., 40-year-old Anthony Lancaster was fatally shot near the intersection of Clarkson Avenue and East 52nd Street in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Responding officers discovered Lancaster with gunshot wounds—two to his back and one to his head. Emergency Medical Services pronounced him dead at the scene.
