In the quiet town of Athens, Alabama, the life of 57-year-old Sabrina Bates came to a tragic end on Friday, April 10, 2026. She was discovered in a home in a residential neighborhood, the victim of a fatal shooting. Alongside her was 74-year-old Curtis Bates, who also died from gunshot wounds.
