A young man's life was cut short on a Monday afternoon in Philadelphia's East Germantown neighborhood. Syree Boyd, a 22-year-old man, was shot multiple times on April 13, 2026, in the 500 block of East Duval Street near Chew Avenue. The incident occurred shortly before 1:30 p.m.

Emergency responders rushed Boyd to a nearby hospital following the shooting. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead approximately 30 minutes after his arrival. The motive for the shooting remains unknown t ...
