On August 1, 2024, 39-year-old Mohammed Khodr was fatally shot during a home invasion in Richmond, Texas. The incident occurred on Rippling Stream Lane, a neighborhood previously considered quiet and safe. According to reports, three individuals arrived at the residence; two of them forced their way inside, where Khodr was present with his wife and children. The assailants confronted Khodr in the kitchen, where he was shot three times as he attempted to retrieve his own firearm for protection.
