Jay Davila, a 20-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on December 27, 2021, in Philadelphia, PA. He was one of three individuals shot on the 200 block of East Cambria Street that evening. When Philadelphia Police officers arrived at the scene at around 7:15 p.m., they found Jay suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite being rushed to Temple University Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries later that night.
The incident remains unsolved, and the Philadelphia Police Department
has been actively seeking information from the public to advance their investigation. The second victim, a 46-year-old Hispanic male, was admitted to Temple Hospital in stable condition, while the third victim, a 44-year-old Black male, was admitted in critical condition.
As of now, there have been no arrests or suspects named in connection with Jay Davila's death. The case is still under investigation, and the police have urged anyone with information to come forward and assist in bringing justice for Jay and his family.
