Ashley Kimmons, a 33-year-old woman from Memphis, died on March 6, 2026, after what began as an ordinary family gathering in southeast Memphis turned into a devastating tragedy. Police were called just before 3 p.m. to the area of East Shelby Drive near Riverdale Road in the Hickory Hill area, where Kimmons had been inside a vehicle in a shopping plaza parking lot.
