Ruth McElwaine Tucker, a 20-year-old woman from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically lost her life on January 27, 1923. She was found dead alongside Duncan Waller, a traveling salesman from Mayfield, Kentucky, in an isolated area near Memphis.
