Ashlynn Luckett, a 6-year-old African American girl, tragically lost her life on January 20, 2020, in a drive-by shooting in Hickory Hill, Memphis, TN. Ashlynn was a first-year student at Sycamore Elementary School, where she was known for her bright personality and eagerness to learn. She was described by her teachers as a "ray of sunshine" who always had a smile on her face and excelled in math.
