Jordyn Washington, an 8-year-old girl from Memphis, TN, tragically lost her life on November 22, 2020. Jordyn was inside her grandmother's apartment at the Highland Chateau complex in Raleigh when she was struck by a stray bullet. The bullet came from outside the apartment, and Jordyn was not the intended target. The incident occurred around 3:50 p.m., and Jordyn was rushed to the hospital but did not survive.
