On January 27, 2024, at approximately 4:50 a.m., Memphis Police responded to a shooting incident in the 1400 block of Alta Vista Avenue in the Frayser neighborhood. Upon arrival, they discovered 27-year-old Shuntaria Latrice Virgous deceased from a gunshot wound. Shuntaria, a mother of two children under the age of seven, was known for her loving nature and dedication to her family.
