On the evening of February 22, 2025, Terrica Tabor, a 29-year-old Black woman and mother of three, was fatally shot while sitting in a car in Memphis, Tennessee. The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. in the parking lot of the Star Lite Inn located in the 2900 block of South Third Street. Tabor was in the passenger seat of a Ford Edge with her boyfriend and sister when they noticed a woman watching them from a nearby stairway.
