Venus Wright, aged 40, was tragically found dead along with her husband, Ladarius Wright, on August 29, 2017, in a budget hotel room in northeast Memphis, Tennessee. The couple was discovered at Crossland Economy Studios, where they had been shot to death. The bodies were found at approximately 12:30 p.m. when Memphis police were called to investigate.
