Akasuki L.D. Pettis Waller, a 25-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on December 17, 2019, in Memphis, Tennessee. The cause of death was a deadly shooting that occurred a week before Christmas, which also resulted in the loss of his partner, leaving three young children without their parents. Memphis police confirmed that Akasuki was pronounced dead at the scene.
