LaTarica Stripling, a 32-year-old African American woman from Memphis, TN, was tragically shot and killed on April 25, 2019. She was visiting her sister at the time of the incident. The shooting occurred in front of her two young daughters, aged 8 and 3, who witnessed the horrifying event. The 8-year-old even tried to jump in front of her mother to protect her but was pushed away by the shooter.
