In the summer of 2018, a tragedy struck a Memphis family that would highlight the devastating consequences of unsecured firearms. On June 12th, 12-year-old Tytkeanna James, an African American girl, was with her 13-year-old brother inside their mother's SUV at the Greenbriar Apartments in the Frayser neighborhood.
