On March 5, 2024, Chasity Nunez, a 27-year-old resident of Worcester, Massachusetts, and her 11-year-old daughter, Zella Nunez, were tragically shot and killed in a parked SUV on Lisbon Street near Englewood Avenue. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. when their vehicle was sprayed with gunfire, with witnesses reporting hearing multiple shots, estimated to be around 12 or more in rapid succession.
