On a summer evening in Worcester, Massachusetts, a tragedy unfolded that would claim the life of Felicia Obeng, a 41-year-old Black woman. On July 16, 2022, Obeng was enjoying the fresh air with her mother outside her home on Cambridge Street, a routine part of her day. This sense of normalcy was shattered when a gunman opened fire on the group of people gathered there.
