In the city of Memphis, Tennessee, a horrific and tragic event unfolded on March 2, 2008, forever altering the lives of several families. Among the victims was Marissa Rene Williams, a 27-year-old African American woman. The incident, which would come to be known as the Lester Street Massacre, took place at the home of her boyfriend, Cecil Dotson.
