In the quiet morning hours of Wednesday, March 11, 2026, a grim discovery was made in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Marcus Franklin, a 44-year-old man, was found deceased inside a car parked along Woodcrest Drive, just off Greenwell Springs Road. The initial call brought law enforcement to the scene at approximately 9 a.m., where they found Franklin had succumbed to at least one gunshot wound.
