On a Sunday evening in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of 18-year-old Tekoah Matthews, a male, was tragically cut short. On May 7, 2017, at approximately 9 p.m., police responded to a call in the 2100 block of North 19th Street. There, they discovered Matthews in the roadway, suffering from apparent gunshot injuries. Emergency services transported him to a local hospital, but his wounds proved to be fatal, and he died there.
