On August 16, 2014, 7-year-old Terrez Coleman was tragically killed in a shooting while riding in the back seat of his family's car in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred on Prescott Road when another vehicle passed by and opened fire. Terrez was fatally struck by a bullet, while his 11-year-old sister, who was also in the car, survived with non-life-threatening injuries.
