In the quiet community of Warrenton, Missouri, a tragic event unfolded on the evening of December 29, 2025, ending the life of 33-year-old Elizabeth Hernandez-Sanchez. A Hispanic woman, Hernandez-Sanchez was shot and killed in a violent act that also claimed the life of her companion, 42-year-old Yeisir Buster Concepcion. The couple was reportedly in a romantic relationship at the time of their deaths.
Authorities were dispatched to the scene near the intersection of South Stracks Church Road and State Highway M following a report of a "man down." Upon arrival, deputies discovered both Hernandez-Sanchez and Concepcion with fatal gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts, both were pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation quickly pointed to a domestic dispute as the motive behind the killings.
The prime suspect in the double homicide was identified as Randys Miguel Ramírez Díaz, the ex-partner of Elizabeth Hernandez-Sanchez. It is believed that Ramírez Díaz was unable to accept the end of their relationship and the new romance between Hernandez-Sanchez and Concepcion. In the hours following the murders, law enforcement tracked a vehicle of interest to a truck stop in Foristell.
As deputies attempted to make contact with the driver, who was confirmed to be Ramírez Díaz, he took his own life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Major Case Squad, which was called in to assist with the investigation, has classified the case as a double murder-suicide. The tragic event has left the community in shock and mourning the loss of two of its members.
