Douglas Scott Goeble, a 26-year-old male police officer with the San Antonio Police Department, tragically lost his life on April 18, 1991. Officer Goeble was shot while eating lunch in a local restaurant. The incident occurred after a suspect, who had just had an argument with his girlfriend in the parking lot, entered the restaurant, went into the bathroom, and then shot Officer Goeble in the head as he exited the restroom.
