In the early morning hours of September 1, 2024, the life of 23-year-old Haley Leann Mackin, a Caucasian female, was tragically cut short in Eugene, Oregon. At approximately 3 a.m., Eugene Police responded to calls reporting a loud argument followed by the sound of gunshots near the intersection of Royal Avenue and Ruskin Street.
