Ileen Donnor, an 86-year-old woman from Eugene, Oregon, passed away on February 17, 1979. Her death was later linked to a series of alleged mercy killings carried out by Otha Harrison Hart, a former nursing home employee. Hart confessed to administering lethal injections of insulin to four patients, including Donnor, claiming he did so to relieve their suffering.
