Ileen Donnor, an 86-year-old woman from Eugene, Oregon, passed away on February 17, 1979. Her death was later linked to a series of alleged mercy killings carried out by Otha Harrison Hart, a former nursing home employee. Hart confessed to administering lethal injections of insulin to four patients, including Donnor, claiming he did so to relieve their suffering. Initially charged with aggravated murder, Hart's charges were later reduced to attempted murder following a plea bargain arrangement. ...
