In the quiet city of Springfield, Missouri, a story of long-lasting love met a tragic and unexpected end in October of 2025. Donella J. Buckner, an 84-year-old woman, passed from this life on or around October 12, leaving a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She and her husband of 67 years, Charles G. Buckner, were discovered deceased inside their north Springfield home after deputies were called for a well-being check.
