On the late evening of March 4, 2021, a tragedy unfolded in the quiet community of Florissant, Missouri, claiming the life of six-year-old Black female Kaylee Mae Brooks. The young girl was inside her family's residence on the 4800 block of Lockwig Trail when her mother’s estranged husband, Bobby McCulley III, forcibly entered the home.
