On the evening of January 4, 2026, the life of 29-year-old Lenard Owens, a male resident of Akron, Ohio, was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. Responding to a call at approximately 10:11 p.m., Akron police officers arrived at the 1000 block of Elwell Court to find Owens suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
