In the early morning hours of Saturday, November 29, 2025, a violent incident unfolded in Eastman, Georgia, that ultimately claimed the life of 44-year-old Ernie Lee Jordan. Around 1:00 a.m., law enforcement officers were dispatched to the 200 block of 1st Avenue following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, first responders discovered Jordan suffering from a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to a nearby trauma center, where medical personnel worked to treat his injuries.
