Sonnie Ivan Clyde Barlow, a 59-year-old white male, died on May 12, 2015, in Eastman, Georgia. His death was the result of a shooting incident involving his brother-in-law, Arthur Lawton Clark. The incident occurred at the residence of Barlow's mother, where both Barlow and Clark were present. On the day of the incident, Clark brought a .22-caliber pistol to the house, which he had previously obtained from his mother. An argument ensued between Barlow and Clark, leading to Clark shooting Barlow.
