Za’Quon Brown, a 21-year-old African American male from Oglethorpe, Georgia, was found dead on August 21, 2022, in Eastman, Georgia. The Eastman Police Department responded to a call about shots fired around 6:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered a wrecked car that had struck a tree. Inside the vehicle, they found Za’Quon Brown deceased from a gunshot wound. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was called in to assist with the investigation.
