DeMarkris Jones, a 26-year-old African American man from Houston, Texas, tragically passed away on February 19, 2019. He was found shot to death inside his home in the Almeda area of Houston, along with his roommate, Darrell Minifee, who was 25 years old. The two men were discovered by a family member who had gone to check on them after not hearing from them since Sunday night. The family member saw them lying lifeless on the living room floor through a window and called for help.
